Window Tinting for Chula Vista Drivers
California-legal tint, cut clean at our Miramar shop.
Heat-rejecting film installed indoors by the same shop that does your glass. We tell you what is legal before you pick a shade.

Tint is a shop job. Here is why it is worth the drive.
Most of what we do comes to you in Chula Vista. Tint does not. Film goes on indoors at our Miramar shop, because the install is what decides whether film bubbles: a clean shop, the right slip solution and a proper squeegee. Chula Vista sits on I-805, and the shop is off Miramar Road near the 805, about 21 miles by road.
We handle glass all day, so window tinting here goes on straight, cut to the edge of each pane, set wet and squeegeed clean. We tint rear doors, quarter glass, back glass and the strip across the top of the windshield.
What is legal on a Chula Vista car.
California law is the same in Chula Vista as anywhere in the state. The front side windows need at least 70 percent of light coming through, glass and film combined, so only very light film passes there. Behind the driver, with mirrors on both sides, the shade is up to you. On the windshield, only a non-reflective band across the top 4 inches is allowed. We show you the options on real glass and tell you what passes before anything is cut.
Long commutes put a lot of sun on the glass
Close to half of Chula Vista commuters spend 30 minutes or more each way. That is a lot of hours with sun coming through the side and back glass. Heat-rejecting film on the rear doors and back glass takes the edge off it.
Need glass work too?
If a door window needs replacing, bring the car in and we replace the door glass and tint the new pane in one visit. Tint is paid in cash; it never rides on an insurance claim. For windshield work at your curb, see our Chula Vista page.
